The importance of membership and support of clubs is not taken lightly by us or the politicians. They now realize we are speaking for more and more Pennsylvanians.
Even when our membership was much larger, some politicians wrote us off as a lone voice in the wilderness. However, when entire groups of established clubs began to join, "we" with them, become a movement. When a movement begins to gain more support from a wider base, it becomes more stable, more potent, and working together to accomplish specific tasks and achieve goals, our abilities are compounded while our treasuries remain healthy. But even better, we become muchmore likely to get legislative matters resolved in our favor. Thereby becoming a serious threat to the "gun control" plans of others.
Unfortunately, in Pennsylvania today, we will likely pay a price for standing up for our rights. Those who consider our rights to be history, adn government control to be the way to the future, will target us. They will spend huge amounts of money to undermine, splinter and defeat us if they can. To counter their efforts, we must build our organization strong, supportive and dedicated from our base up. To that end we are seeking input and commitment from our members. Fortunately for us, most Pennsylvanians are cautious of commitment, but seriously devoted to keeping their freedoms and see our goals and methods as positive, worth while, and correct. And thanks to our members, we continue to grow, expand and gain that solod stable base.
If you know of a club or group (of any sort), that feels our rights are worth saving, and they are willing to put forth some effort, ask them to give us a call. As an "Associate Group", they will be part of the grassroots effort made up of the strongest organizations in Pennsylvania. Together we will win! They are welcome, and needed.
